Maternity sessions are a beautiful time to celebrate the wondrous changes your body is going through as your baby continues to grow inside. Maternity sessions are offered both in the studio and outdoors at your location of choice. Contact Connecticut maternity photographer Chaya Miller now.

When to book your Maternity Session?

Maternity Sessions are to be booked 8 weeks in advance of your session. Sessions are typically held between 30-36 weeks to capture your beautiful round bump.

The Maternity Consultation

After your deposit is received, we will set up a phone call/virtual meeting to discuss the vision for your session.

We will discuss the location- studio versus an outdoor location, your choice of outfit/s, and the poses or looks you would like to achieve during your photoshoot.

You can choose to bring your gowns or choose from some of the beautiful high end gowns in the client closet from the studio.

The Maternity Session

All is ready for you when you arrive for your maternity session! We can use multiple backgrounds and outfits to create different looks for you and or your partner/family. Have ideas of poses you would like to capture? We will work together to incorporate them and make it a reality! There is no time limit on your session and we can do as much variety as you like.

Interested in just a few iconic images of the glowing Mama to be? Maternity Mini Sessions may be a great option for you! They are for Mom only, and are approximately half hour in length. One gown is worn at the maternity mini sessions, and the session takes place in the studio.

The Maternity Reveal Session

Sit back, relax, and enjoy viewing your beautiful images! We will hand-pick the images you would like to purchase together at your reveal session. You can hold the beautifully crafted samples that I have in the studio, and see wall art options that are available for purchase. I guide you through the entire process.

When booking a maternity + newborn session, $100 is deducted from your session fee of choice.

Maternity Session Q & A

Can family join in the maternity photoshoot?: Yes, we can do as many poses as you like with the spouse and family!
What should my partner wear?: Depending on what you choose to wear, we will work together to come up with something that coordinates well for your partner!
I am 30 weeks pregnant. Can I still book a maternity photoshoot?: Of course you can! The best is to book early, though if you don't try and reach out I will be happy to accommodate you if I can.
