Newborn photoshoots are best done between 5-21 days of age to capture those tiny features and priceless newborn expressions. I recommend booking your session around the start of your third trimester of pregnancy. This enables you to reserve a spot on my calendar and secure your booking with a deposit. After your baby is born, we will get in touch to finalize your exact session date.

Your child is unique and your baby's photos should be unique as well! Upon booking your newborn session, we'll consult via phone or video call to create a styling plan for your session. Your newborn photo session is completely planned according to your specifications. Your booking includes access to my beautiful curated collection of wraps, backdrops, props, and accessories in your choice of color. This collection is sourced from all around the globe, bringing you only the softest, finest materials for your little one.

Newborn sessions take place at my quiet separate in-home studio space in Waterbury, CT. Newborn photo shoots are not timed, though are typically 4 + hours in length. Baby leads the way during the session, and breaks for soothing and feeding baby are built into the session time. 

Newborn sessions are calm and relaxed, and follow the pace of your baby. I am attentive to your baby's needs and safety while simultaneously attending to all the portrait details that make for those heart-melting newborn portraits. Never is a baby forced into a pose or left unattended. During the session, you are welcome to relax in comfortable seating provided in the room or in the waiting area right outside the studio room.

Parents and siblings are welcome to join in the photo shoot. Multiple set-ups are included in every session, starting with poses on the beanbag and transitioning to a minimum of 6 set-ups on the floor with backdrops and various newborn props.

The basic/mini session option is a quicker shoot at about 1-2 hours. This session captures swaddled poses only and is for babies exclusively. While the session is shorter in length, we still try for a variety of different poses, usually 4-6 sets in total. If you would like a few beautiful images of the baby to remember this fleeting stage, this option may be for you!

Interested in one or two family images at your mini session? Family can be added on for an additional fee upon request. 

Approximately a week after your session, you will be called for your photo reveal session. We review your images together and I am there to help guide you in choosing your favorites. We will spend as long as you need making your selections.

At your reveal session, you will purchase your high resolution digitals and products.Various collections are available for purchase , that include both high resolution images and beautiful art products. Add-ons can be ordered with any collection and include high-resolution digitals, professional prints, table-top products, and fine wall art and album options.

Your newborn portraits are an investment for your baby and family. I believe that every financial investment should have flexible payment options. Therefore, I am happy to offer payment plans upon request.
